Robert Dowdall
Robert is a clean technology entrepreneur and innovator with more than 10 years’ experience. He holds a BEng Hons in Mechanical Engineering and ME in Energy Systems both from University College Dublin.
Robert drives the technical aspects of the Dowmann to find new and creative ways to extract value from what many consider to be “waste”.

Paul Manning
Paul has extensive technology commercialisation experience as a co-founder of NovoGrid where he is the Chief Commercial Officer. He has sold their software control solutions to over 250 MW of wind farms in the UK, Ireland & Germany.
Before NovoGrid he worked for 15 years in his family’s construction company for clients such as Pfizer, IBM, Microsoft, DIAGEO & Sisk
• He is a winner of the “Best Technology” Award at the Financing Wind Europe Awards 2021
• He is a winner of the “Best Original Technology” Award at the Irish Wind Energy Awards 2020
• He is a winner of the EDIS (an EON company) Start-up Challenge 2019 in Berlin
• He was a finalist in the Irish Times Innovation Awards 2021

Cathal Moroney
Cathal trained as a Chartered Accountant in Industry with Kepak in Meath, qualifying in 2005 and is a member of the
Institute of Taxation in Ireland. Cathal has also gained international experience in diverse places such as Malawi with GOAL, Aruba with Digicel and Liberia with Concern Worldwide. Cathal has worked in small entities and large multinational companies such as Kerry Group and Digicel.
Cathal holds an MBA from University College Dublin and a BSc in Accounting from University College Cork.
